About

My love of flowers grew and flourished from part time jobs which lead to a career and a passion for Blooms.  While studying fine art, I learned the value of composition, creativity, balance, color and, most importantly, the feelings and emotions they evoke.  Flowers have become my medium, and I love helping those who send them communicate love, joy, sympathy and compassion to loved ones.  I love creating flowers for Brides and Grooms to celebrate their love and new beginning, or helping families and friends express grief for lost loved ones, or marking the joyful occasion as new life enters the world.

After college, I worked at a Law Firm while doing weddings and events on the side. Many weekends involved late night floral work in a way too hot or way too cold garage with fingerless gloves or surrounded by fans.  Years of doing double duty passed and I decided it was time to dream big and look for work as a floral designer in New York.  A quick apprenticeship helped me realize it was time to follow my dream and work for myself in my own shop.  Things quickly fell into place and in 2011 Blooms & Company was born in the heart of Downtown Salt Lake City.

I have a love for all types of people and I am so happy to be able to bring them together with the simple act of giving flowers.  Always drawn to beautiful things (which sometimes manifests as a shopping problem), it makes me happy to pass them on to those who come into the shop. Each day I am in awe at the beauty of flowers, I can’t help but marvel at the miracle that they are. I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to live my dream with my arms elbow deep in fresh flowers.
